Over Sized Logos

The over sized logos have been the top mainstream trend setters in 2011. Having over sized logos for a website is gaining popularity and we can expect more new designs and redesigned websites this year. The main objective of a logo is to give brand recognition to a product or a service and having an over sized logo helps in emphasizing the everlasting expression on a customer. People are not interested in flashy and splashy pages anymore. It is believed that the over sized logos in a website are giving an unforgettable experience to the visitors of the site using them.

Fancy Tabs

Every owner of a website is desperate to grab the attention of his viewers for an ample time and usually they get only 5 to 10 seconds of it on average. If you are successful to attract them with the new trends on your site then you would be successful in retaining your customer by giving him more information in that time. The year 2011 is bound to set trends of incorporating the Fancy Tabs for the websites which attract the visitors and make them spend more time on a site than expected.

Hand Drawn Wire Frames

Hand-drawn wire frames are the newest trends on the 2011 web trends.  Though this concept is been experimented by some designers from some time, it has taken its pace this year as most of the websites are carrying out these hand drawn designs. This free form of designing allows a website to come out of the conventional boxy elements and their borders and this is going to prove to be elemental trend of web solutions in 2011.

Combinations of Typography

Typography plays an important role in a web page as it does in any other medium. Though the resolution of a computer differs, it is the job of a designer to see that the fonts look the same for any resolution. Big fonts are making trends these days along with the usage of different kinds of topography in the same page.  Mix and mould the fonts to get the new designs that suit your needs.

Headers and Footers

2010 has seen everything on a web page growing bigger in size including the headers and footers. 2011 is going to see this trend even more in action as the importance of headers and footers in a web page has increased. The footers have become an integral part of a web page holding more random info of a site (like feed updates from various social media, daily polls, and Flickr feeds) rather than extra information.
