Website design and development for University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore
University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore, a premier institution of agricultural education and research in the country, began as a small agricultural research farm in 1899 on 30 acres of land donated by Her Excellency Maharani Kempa Nanjammanni Vani Vilasa Sannidhiyavaru, the Regent of Mysore and appointed Dr. Lehmann, German Scientist to initiate research on soil crop response with a Laboratory in the Directorate of Agriculture.
The Challenge
UAS Bangalore was the oldest customer of us and Nispaara had designed and developed their previous HTML website. We had maintained it for the past 6 years and they wanted to migrate their HTML website to a open source technology.
The Solution
Nispaara chose to develop the new website on Joomla platform. We migrated the entire website in a months time and lauched the new website during the Golden jubliee celebratins of the University.
Each and every major sector the customer serves was depicted in a unique manner on the website which tends to attract the end user attention easily. With the coordination of the customer, Nispaara team completed the website (nearly 200 pages) in 3 months of time.
The website received a huge positive response for its creative design and showcase of the university infrastructure and faculty details. We still provide a 24*7 maintenance services for the university and have stepped into a 9th year contract with them.
