Youtube is one of the most important medium that can be used to popularize your brand on the web. Sharing the videos on Youtube will give you an opportunity to show your customers in detail about your offerings.<\/p>\n

A Youtube channel allows you to splash your profile information, videos, playlists and more. You can also create as many links as possible on your channel that allow other people to connect with you or share your channel with their friends and also comment on your channel.<\/p>\n

As my experience goes I see that Youtube is offering two types of channels<\/p>\n

  1. Standard Channel<\/li>\n
  2. Brand Channel<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here we are going to discuss some details on Brand Channel<\/p>\n

    What is Youtube Brand Channel?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Brand Channel of Youtube is very similar to the Standard channel of Youtube in look and feel except that it offers a number of features that are not available on standard channels. This is a paid version and is currently available in United States and Canada. Youtube is proposing to widen the range of geo locations for the Brand Channel soon.<\/p>\n

    Features of Youtube Brand Channel:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Custom Images:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    The standard channel of a Youtube is allowed to have only a background image for the channel but the Brand channel can have three images that can be customized for different positions on the channel.<\/p>\n

    The Channel Banner Image: <\/strong>This can be placed at the top of the channel page and has the dimensions of 960px by 150px.<\/p>\n

    The Side Column Image: <\/strong>This image can be customized for the dimensions of 300px by 250px and sits on the left side of your channel page right below the channel information module.<\/p>\n

    The Video Page Banner: <\/strong>This is a flexible image that can be of 25px height and the width can be anything below 170px. This image is bound to appear on the Youtube video watch page above the top left corner of the video player.<\/p>\n
